QBoss Watchtower

Every read from every phone, in one place, sent to the systems you already run.

The app is free on its own. Watchtower adds the office view.

What Watchtower does

  • Every read in one place Reads from every phone land in one list. Type a container number and find it.
  • Full history for each container See when it was read, where in the yard, and which phone read it. Every read stays on the record.
  • Reports and exports on demand Pull a report or an export whenever you need one, from Watchtower or through the API. Nobody copies a spreadsheet by hand.
  • API integrations Watchtower sends the reads on to your YMS, TMS or ERP, so the systems you trust stay the source of truth.

QBoss Watchtower

One record for the whole yard

Every phone's reads land in one live feed, and a phone that was offline sends its reads when it reconnects. Each read carries the time, the phone's location and which phone read it. The office, the yard and your other systems all work from that one record, instead of clipboards, spreadsheets and a separate list on every phone.

  • Activity report Total reads and unique containers, a trend by hour, day or week, and a breakdown by phone.
  • Container report Each container's read count, when it was first and last seen, which phones read it, and its timeline.
  • On demand, filtered your way Filter by phone and date range, then download as PDF, Excel or CSV, from Watchtower or through the API.
  • Collaboration, by design Inventory corrections are seen by all. Webhooks and API integrations send each new, changed or deleted read on to your other systems.

Common questions

Does Watchtower replace my YMS?

No. It feeds it. Your YMS, TMS or ERP keeps running the yard. Watchtower hands it clean, time-stamped, located reads.

Do I need Watchtower to use the app?

No. The app is free on its own and reads containers without it. Watchtower is for when you want every phone's reads collected and sent on.
